Leaf Sheep sea slugs (Costasiella kuroshimae) are also known as Shaun the Sheep nudibranch, though there seems to be some debate over whether or not they should be categorized as nudibranch. Perhaps, the most fascinating characteristic of the Leaf Sheep is their use of photosynthesis. The sea slugs retains chloroplast from the algae they eat and use the energy it produces to fuel themselves.

Description: This tiny Nudibranch, varying from 1 - 5 mm in sizes are fondly called, Shaun the Sheep Nudibranch. They are usually found on the algae, which is their food source. The algae looks like a small green leaf, usually around 2 - 2.5 cm in diameter, found in shallow waters in sandy bottom.
